From June to September, hire a hydrospeed float, a canoraft, a kayak or a paddle at Huningue’s Parc des eaux vives (white water park). You’ll be able to enjoy the thrills on your own if you’re like a fish in water, because knowing how to swim and being in good physical condition are essential if you want to stay out of trouble!
Hire includes access to the river, equipment specific to the chosen activity and adapted to the weather conditions, information on how to use the equipment and safety rules.
I’m more of a sportsman, or like a fish in water… and the swirls of the river are a game to me: hiring a hydrospeed float or a canoraft is my ticket to new sensations in complete autonomy, or a kayak, which I’ll still have to tame!
I prefer calm waters… to the tumult of a torrent: hire a paddle and you’ll be able to glide along the canal in complete peace of mind!
Terms and conditions
Rental requires :
- be over 12 years of age
- be able to swim 25 meters and immerse in water
- no medical contraindications
- be insured for personal liability as well as personal insurance
- not to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics (anyone in a state of intoxication will be denied access to the river, with no possibility of reimbursement)
When chartering, you are on your own, under your own responsibility.
Desalination (turning over and abandoning the boat) is a frequent occurrence. To recover your equipment and get back to shore, you need to accept the risk of bruising.
If you have any doubts about your ability, we advise you to opt for a supervised package.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
From the age of 15, it is possible to practice on your own provided you present the parental authorisation form for 15-18 year-olds to practice on their own.
Navigation on the Parc des eaux vives is not supervised.
